Hugo, the cardboard sculpture

Hugo, in a way, was part labor of love, part “I’m stubborn, and it’s challenged me, so I’m going to make it work if it kills me”

I kind of wish I’d been able to make the legs move a bit better, but the do move (twitching is a movement right) and painted over the letters I’d used to distinguish the pieces from one another, but I was too caught up in trying to get it stand on it’s own.

Despite it’s short comings, I’m still reasonably happy with Hugo, although next time I try to build a straandbeest, I’ll get all the supplies earlier, and use something sturdier than cardboard.

Also, I hope I never have to use paper tape again.
